Instructions for Authors
1. Coverage of This Journal (papers meeting the following topics are easy to be published)
(1) Opinions, suggestions and ideas on the principles and policies, research direction, exploration objectives and technical methods of marine oil and gas geology and exploration.
(2) Oil and gas prospect analysis, basin oil and gas resources evaluation and exploration block evaluation and optimization analysis in marine stratigraphic area.
(3) Characteristics and evolution of geotectonics and petroliferous basins in marine stratigraphic areas.
(4) Mechanism and model of hydrocarbon genesis, evolution and accumulation in marine strata.
(5) Application of sequence stratigraphy, basin analysis, geophysics, geochemistry, reservoir description, computer simulation and other technical methods in marine oil and gas geology and exploration.
(6) Academic debate on the topic of great significance and divergent understanding in the theory and practice of marine oil and gas geology.
(7) Theory and progress of marine oil and gas geology and exploration at home and abroad (8) Examples of typical marine oil and gas fields.
(9) Innovative theories and technical methods in other fields that can be used for reference in marine field.
2. General Requirements of the Manuscript (papers that meet the requirements may be published faster)
(1) The content of the manuscript conforms to the scope of our report, with clear viewpoints and reliable arguments.
(2) Concise words, accurate figures and complete charts.
(3) The source of the cited materials shall be indicated.
(4) The units of measurement and symbols shall comply with the national standards, and the letters and symbols shall be distinguished from capital and lowercase, upright and italics, upper and lower corner marks.
(5) The content of the manuscript complies with the confidentiality provisions of the state and the enterprise.
3. Several Details that Need Attention (papers that pay attention to details may be published faster)
(1) The Chart Quality Requirements
The chart should be self-evident and try to be concise and clear:
ⅰ The color of the map is beautiful, the line thickness is moderate, the text is legible, the content corresponding to the text is free of omissions and errors, and the content unrelated to the text should be removed. Please provide the vector format file of the map.
ⅱ High pixels are required for digital photos and scanned pictures.
ⅲ There shall be no blank column in the table. If the measured value is "zero", it shall be marked with "0", and the unmeasured data shall be indicated with "-". The significant digits of data shall be consistent.
(2) Chinese and English Abstracts
Abstracts should be independent:
ⅰ The research background, main methods, research results and important conclusions of the paper are emphatically written, and 5-6 key words reflecting the core content of the paper are provided.
ⅱ The length of the Chinese abstract shall be controlled within 300-500 words. The English abstract can be more detailed than the Chinese abstract, with a length of 300-500 words.
(3) Reference Indexing
ⅰ When quoting other people's opinions, achievements and materials (including drawings and tables) in the manuscript, please indicate the source of the document and the description elements of the document must be complete.
ⅱ The description format shall be in accordance with the national standard GB/T 7714-2005 rules for description of bibliographic references (refer to the template).
(4) Writing Background and Author Introduction
ⅰ If the paper is supported by funds or projects, please note on the front page of the paper. ⅱ The brief introduction of the author includes: name, gender, date of birth, graduation school and time, highest degree obtained, technical title (or position), major, address and contact information.
4. Others
(1) Internet Access for Publishing Papers
ⅰ In order to broaden the information dissemination channels of Marine Origin Petroleum Geology and the author's papers, all the papers published by this journal will be included in the well-known literature database systems at home and abroad, such as Key Magazine of China Technology, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang Data, Chongqing VIP China Journals Database, Petroleum Abstracts (PA) (USA), etc.
ⅱ If the author does not agree that the paper is included in the relevant database system, please make a statement to this journal in advance.
(2) Contribution Way and Notice of Use
ⅰ For online contributions, please enter from the "registration area" on the home page of this website.
ⅱE-mail contributions should be sent to the e-mail of the editorial department: mopg_hz@petrochina.com.cn , the document is in word format.
ⅲ After receiving the manuscript, the editorial department generally issues the "receipt of manuscript" within one week, and issues the notice of using, revising or rejecting the manuscript within three months at the latest (during this period, do not contribute duplicately for one manuscript).
ⅳ Once the paper is published, the journal will pay the remuneration (including the remuneration for the online service of the paper) and give 2 copies of the current publication as a gift.
(3) In order to speed up the publication of manuscripts and facilitate the mailing of remuneration and gifts, please specify the communication information (contact person's name, telephone, e-mail, work department, address, post code). If the work department is mobile and the contact is inconvenient, please also inform.
