It is known that there is good hydrocarbon potential in lower Paleozoic reservoirs in Central Uplift, South Yellow Sea Basin. Analysis of stratigraphic attribute is significant. Based on the analysis on the seismic profiles that have been acquired and processed in recent years, six seismic sequences are identified in this uplift. According to seismic reflection features, formation velocity, integrated gravity-magnetic-seismic inversion and regional geological correlation, it is inferred that these stratigraphic sequences are attributed to pre-Sinian, Sinian, Cambrian-Ordovician, Silurian-Devonian, Carboniferous-Lower Permian and Neogene-Quaternary. These sequences are widely distributed with huge sedimentary thickness and demonstrate NNE- and EW-trending in general. |
