Abstract: |
In order to determine the gas-bearing property and shale-gas resource potential of paralic transitional stratum of the Upper Paleozoic in Taikang Uplift, Southern North China Basin, the characteristics of the shale development, geochemistry and hydrocarbon content are studied based on the data of drilling, logging and test results of well Weican 1. The results show that the paralic transitional shale of Upper Paleozoic develop with large accumulative thickness. The TOC value of Permian Taiyuan Formation and Shanxi Formation is high with average value of 1.46% and 1.01% respectively, and the organic matter is mainly of type Ⅲ. The result of field analysis of core shows that the gas content is 0.172~5.478 m3/t and 0.242~2.858 m3/t respectively in these two formations. The relationship is further discussed between the gas-bearing property and such factors as burial depth, lithologic character and geochemical characteristics. The high quality source rocks are appointed out on the basis of comprehensive analysis. |
