The Neogene Shawan lithologic oil reservoir in Chunguang Oil Field is characterized by shallow burial, thin thickness and poor digenesis, which results in an unsatisfied effect of exploration. A series of good applica tion results have been achieved in this field, which including the flattening slice technique that determines favor able reservoir belts, the frequency division technique that graves, the “bright-like spot” feature that discriminates sand bodies and the 2-step inversion method of pseudo-acoustic wave adding electrical resistivity that identi fies fluids. The 2-step inversion method can detect out oil-bearing or water-bearing sand bodies without bright spots. For the exploration of favorable beach reservoirs without bright-like spots, effective traps can be found with suitable fluid detection technology in spite of the customary method of applying “bright-like spot” feature. |
